Installing a USR 9108

I am trying connect to wireless USR9108, but the automated installation process complains it cannot find the PC. Can anyone help me on that? I am absolutely new on this task. I changed the IP of my PC to a one belonging to the mask of the router,... but maybe I should have left it dynamic....

Enable DHCP and try again (dynamic).

system obtain IP address automatically.
I dont connect already,
i connect modem using supplied ethernet cable but i haven't adsl line

What are you trying to do then? Connect the modem with the pc via Ethernet cable and it should work, that's it.

Check the modem manual.
