Installing CFW on PS3 Slim?

Hi all

So I've got a PS3 Slim now for not too long and have been reading about cfw and the like. I'd like to install it on my PS3 but have no idea how. (yes I did google this and am confused :/)

My model is CECH2004B and the current OFW is 4.40. Can I do it?

Nope. Not without a hardware flasher you won't.
