I want to install Ubuntu on my HP notebook, do I got 32bit or 64bit?

Will I have driver issues?

I have not used this before what's the easiest way to install? Any local sites to download the latest version?

I run 64-bit on my Core 2 Duo. If you have a multi-core laptop you should run 64-bit. It's a lot faster, has close to exactly the same driver support and is just better in every aspect.

You can get it from several local sites.

You can just download that iso and burn it to cd, then install. Just remember to backup all your files if you are planning to convert to Linux or if you don't have a spare partition for Linux (which you most likely don't). Also make sure you have written your recovery dvd's because your recovery partition will be useless unless you've managed to tweak it (it took me about 10 installations to finally get the recovery partition/xp/Linux in a working order).
