Insurance Assessment

Anyone know where I can get an assessment letter for lightning damaged products for insurance purposes?

Had a number of items damaged by what seems to be a lightning strike (32"LCD, Amplifier, Cordless phone, router, dstv decoder) and our insurance do not send an assessor out. We need to get the assessment letter.

I know Incredible Connection did one for us a while back, although it was for a router and PC, they even supplied a quote to replace it.

I went through this rigmarole last year after an assessor came back with a report of wear and tear damage and it's better you get your own assessor. Try electronics repair shops perhaps?
