Insurance expert issues open house warning

An insurance expert is encouraging homeowners who are putting their houses on the market to make sure they know what they are and are not covered for.

The advice follows recent CCTV footage of two men entering a house that had been on show pretending to be prospective buyers.


The duo then went on to pinch valuables from one of the bedrooms.


CEO of MUA Insurance Acceptances, Christelle Colman says homeowners face an increased risk on open house day.

I could never understand why people would do this. ID or driver's licence must be non-negotiable.
