Long story short, wifes car was written off 2 weeks ago, was not her fault.
Car is a 2013 Hyundai I10 1.1 GLS/Motion, had less than 120k on the clock and was in mint condition, not a scratch on it and interior was clean, no wear and tear showing.
Insurance agreement of loss offer- R71400 ( car is insured at Retail value)
We owe the bank R52674 and less the excess- R5000 ( should they not claim this from the other guys insurance as he was at fault? Is this not what we pay them to do?
I took the liberty of getting a Transunion report- they value it at R74769-R78311 which judging by the market currently is about 15-20k lower, that model and mileage range is going for R90000+
I have questioned them on how they arrived at their agreement of loss, now we wait again.
I cant replace the car for what they offering
