Ok, so the real reason for me starting a thread asking people about RDS in South Africa is that I've decided I'm long overdue for a CD-receiver upgrade in my car, and that I want one that can 'drive' my 160GB iPod classic.
Choices are pretty limited here in SA for cd-receivers like this that don't cost more than the iPod itself did.
The two main options are a JVC (which seems to have better iPod integration) but is sans RDS, or a Sony X-Plod, which seems a bit more limited, but has RDS (plus redundant USB input)
What worries me is both user manuals only explicitly mention support for up to 5th gen iPods. Does anyone have either of these models and can confirm their support for 6th gen classic?
