Oh yes, towards the end of 2008 the LGA1333 socket will replace socket 775 and you need to sell you wife to get the new platform..........

depends. whats her skills? cooking? cleaning? ironing? good in bed? Doesnt nag?

Out of 10 for each skill.

Overall rating of 50.

There should be some wife rating system, out of 5.9 until we've got the whole thing sorted, then we'll move the maximum score up. One should be able to go into a store go to a wife and be able to check her System Properties, "validate her key", etc

So how is this going to be test proved, Wifes-swapping?

Sadly unlike with the 65nm Quad cores, the only worthwhile ones are this one and the QX9770 which costs even more and has yet to be officially released in mass.
The other ones have a multi that's way too low and FSB is an issue witht he 45nm chips. So the only real winner here will be the Q9650 which is not due for a very long time.
