Intel disaster

Intel’s financial results for the fourth quarter were a disaster, with a huge decline in revenue and earnings.

When you make your products unaffordable
This is what puzzles me the most.
Despite the ridiculous amounts Intel and Nvidia charges for their tech, CES were chock-full of their SKU's.
AMD few and far between.
Sure the former two has faster chips, but at what cost?
Can they (and manufacturers, for that matter) not read the room?
Record inflation and an "energy crisis" points towards customers possibly being more price sensitive this year.

It is not only the buy price, it is more about the running energy cost per performance where AMD wiped their arses with Intel chips. Intel still thinks absolute performance is everything, while the true metric that matters is running cost per performance, and AMD got this right.

Absolutely. Both doing an AMD FX to stay with the current king.
Have you seen the 13th Gen turbo power draw?
Not to mention that ridiculously oversized 40xx GPU's.
