Intel Corp is facing a record $1.45 billion (1.06 billion Euro) fine after the EC (European Commission) this morning ruled that the chip maker has been violating antitrust rules and abusing its dominant x86 CPU market position.
Intel has appealed the massive €1.06bn fine imposed against it by the European Commission back in May. However, to make things fun, it has chosen to argue that the EU has violated its human rights in slapping it with such a hefty fine.
