Well if bf 4 runs much better on amd's 8 core, back to amd i go.

I will wait and see benchmarks and for the release before deciding whether my 920 needs to be replaced by an 8 core cpu.

Swa i would not call it catching up to amd just yet, amd are still behind but consoles using 8 cores could just put them back in the game with pc gamers.

I beg to differ here. Intel is yet to have a system of similar specs to an AMD one for less. They do have the best on paper but it's also at a much higher price point. Doesn't exactly equate to taking the lead.
