Intel Q9550 wanted

Best price I've been able to come up with for a Q9450.

R 3 357,30 boxed, incl.

Since intel introduced some more price cuts today (US retailers too), and are now selling the Q9550 for the same price as the Q9450, is there anyone who can get me a Q9550 for the same price as the Q9450?

Hmmm. Maybe the big grin means nobody is taking this seriously.

and the retailers have started with their own cuts.

The price I have quoted is for an intel boxed, Q9450, incl. VAT, from a well known local dealer. I'll be patient for now. , I know it takes a bit of time for these things to filter through here. Just hoping we could react as fast as the US retailers

Found a supplier who has implemented the new pricing and have placed an order for Q9550.

Seems these guys cant supply the item - they cancelled the order stating that they are no longer carrying the item

Well business goes to the next supplier who did the right thing by cutting prices in line with the cuts from Intel.

Don't sweat. We'll just have to be patient about this.

Remember the suppliers are now buying the Q9550's at the same price as the Q9450's. They will have to fall in line at some point.

If they've have a large stock of the Q9550's at the old price, that's just poor inventory management.

The price drops are something they must have been aware of way before the general public. I am aware of leaked pricing being available dating back as far as March, April IIRC. Will do some searching and post links if necessary.

Just want everybody / as many as possible to be aware of what we should realistically be paying for computer parts.
