Intel unveils new laptop processors

Those must be for ultrabooks / budget laptops. Quad / Dual cores is not what I'd call exciting news.
 
Do these have hardware fixes for Meltdown & Specter & l1tf & foreshadow & ...

Or do we need to enable mitigations / HT and slow down?

On security, almost all the documented hardware security fixes are in place with Sunny Cove.

Aside from Spectre V1, which has no suitable hardware solution, almost all of the rest have been solved through hardware/firmware
