Inter account transfers

I have a question about the legitimacy of transferring between accounts within the same bank. If I arrive with the person transferring the funds and we both go to the teller and do it in the bank, are the funds guaranteed to be in my account - and they cannot be reversed?

Yes. Transfers occurring within the same bank have no need to be done in batch processing and are therefore transferred immediately.
It's only when you transfer money between banks that it gets done in batches.

Once the money is reflected in someone's account it is no longer reversible.
