Jose Mourinho and Inter are ready to wage a campaign to bring in Barcelona ace Samuel Eto'o to the San Siro

El Mundo Derportivo in Spain reports Barcelona are keen on Franck Ribery and David Villa. This has led to widespread belief that the Blaugrana will allow Eto'o to go.

What would you do? One of the main reasons why Barca have been unstoppable this season is because of Eto.

Question: Will you sell Eto to strengthen the left back position with Maxwell and possibly try and get Villa and Ribery?

Or keep Eto at all costs and still try to sign Ribery at least?

I would rather have augero. Of the strikers we are linked to. I would rather go for younger guys even if they cost more, you are likely to get something back later on then if you go for an older player.

...or over Villa and Ribery?

Inter aren't linked to villa. Besides that spanish players have a terrible record except for Suarez of la grande inter in the 1960's most of them haven't fared well.

We don't play with wingers and wingers don't do that well in serie a. I think ribery is a great player but he doesn't suit our style.

Misunderstood you.

I was talking about Barca's line-up an and you were talking about Inter's.

In the Inter setup you would take Sergio over Eto?

Yes I would. I rate augero higher. Eto is a great goalscorer but augero does more than just score goals. He is also younger.

But the more pressing issues is the midfield. We need to sign some like diego and hamsyk to complement the defensive abilities of cambiasso and zanetti. As we saw from this years cl our midfield simply don't have the offensive power needed. So we need to sign a playmaker and a a two way central midfielder.

Wingers are Mou's lifeblood! I haven't watched any Serie A since 2006, so I can't comment on what he has been doing recently, but evidence of the fact that he needs them is that he bought Quaresma and Mancini... If he isn't playing with wingers now, it would only be because he doesn't have any decent quality with which to work...

Keep Eto. He is a first class finisher. There is nothing better than having someone that can naturally put them away. Eto is a natural goal scorer, they don't come around often.

His porto side didn't have wingers.

Initially he thought of 4-3-3 but he has abandoned that idea because it doesn't work in serie a. He gave an interview to espn were he explaimed this. The difference between england and italy for wingers according to him is that in Italy the midfield is congested which means if you play with wingers you get out numbered.

That's why it doesn't work and why he won't go back to it this summer. His inter side will play 4-3-1-2 but he will likely change some of the personal in the midfield.

Ya, i would love to keep Eto he has said this week that he intends staying at the club.

At the moment i rate Eto much higher than Augero. With Eto, you know you going to have 25 goals a season, every season.

Anyone remember NBA Jam? Old Arcade game? The announcer saying "Swish!"... Put that sound byte on replay and you have the story Eto'o's football career! :D

Classic game!

You can still live the good old days with mame and the nba jam roms.
