Interconnect rate cuts: Some prices will come down sooner than expected

Mr Reed, well done ! it is leaders like you who will make a difference.

Mr Holdsworth, it seems you are all talk and no action, time to step up or go home.

Did not expect much from MTN and Vodacom - as for Cell C, I have no doubt they will step up.

I do hope that MTN will drop the peak price by the amount and not add another cost or increase something else

99c/Minute

FNB Connect has already dropped their pricing to 99c per minute to all cellphone operators, and this rate is guaranteed to last at least until the end of Feb 2010...

YAY!!!!!

Three cheers for Doug Reed... when you're in Durbs again, look me up so I can buy you a drink!!!

I was going to be negative with my input (again, but for the record it's hard to have any other attitude). But decided against it, because of people such as Mr Reed. I would consider his company just because of his trying to help attitude. Mm thought for Food.

One concern!
What about contract customers... You know, the ones that get 100 - 1000 minutes included in their ridiculously priced monthly payments?
Don't think they will get any benefit! Promise you the VC & MTNs will not be adding extra minutes to the package?
What are your views...

Rate cuts

Mweb will do the same for their voip resellers, possibly sooner.

well my ADSL line has been real bad lately and telkom say as long as my modem connects there is nothing they can do... even if a 4MB line sometimes only connects at 256K. Makes me wonder if they doing it cos I only use VoIP for calls... make my ADSL real bad so I give up the Vox phone.
