Thanks Decotey.

I like the "Telkom can hold them to ransom and has marked up its prices by 600%" line. Sigh.

But I don't understand why they are wasting money with a sattelite (Rascom), and they don't mention the price of this sattelite.

So - our hope now lies in the form of a project called Comtel, an OVERLAND through Africa cable.

I hope some of that budget is allocated to teach the people who live near the cable that there is no copper in the cable - giggle.
