Microsoft software development for as long as I can remember has seemed to work on the basic principle that computer hardware speed and performance will grow infinitely to accommodate their sloppy and wasteful programming techniques.

Hee hee. I do agree on this one. Micro$oft reckons that since power=money, more powerful hardware means a more powerful OS will result in more power and money... well apparently they are wrong. Or at least Linux and Apple/Mac have shown them otherwise. The EEE and the Apple Airbook thingie shows that you can have modern hardware using minimal resources and have an operating system powerful enough, yet resource friendly, to run it. Good going M$.

OT!
I love TP, just finished with Making Money, and I must say he’s still got it!
