Well maybe it's just me being a bit of a nerd, but as a guy who flies a lot this was a new one on me and I thought I'd share it.
I was on an internal flight landing at Helsinki airport a couple of weeks ago when I saw an Airbus 320 out of the side window just about to land as well. It turns out Helsinki has parallel runways and we were both going to land at the same time.
I snapped a couple of pics on my phone before the stewardess said something angry sounding in Finnish on the PA, so I stopped snapping thinking she was talking to me. Watching it land was pretty amazing and a real treat at such a privileged view point, the pics don't do any justice to how close it was and how great a sight it was.
As it was just touching down, I thought sod it and grabbed another pic angry stewardess or not. I was on a twin prop ATR 72 btw.
