well i got myself this book "the a-z of careers" it gives u info on what u need 2 study for any kinda career u want and so i saw the name telecommunications and i looked it up and they had the follow to say

A much reduced Telkom head office will retain specialist functions such as finance, internal audit informat technology, public affairs and regulatory affairs."

There are numerous organisations out there whose actual operations belie their profiles, not least amongst them Telkom. The people who produce these glib statements are paid to do so - unfortunately, a lot of them have no conscience at all, or actually have no idea of what's going on. I think the management and directorate of all organisations should spend some time annually at the actual coalface, which would perhaps qualify them to make appropriate and relevant decisions from their ivory towers, instead of the maladjusted and misplaced ones they usually make. I would have laughed after reading this, if it weren't so pitiful and tragic...
