While flashing my Core 360 this morning i got from Telkom, i got a wonderful surprise, extra heatsinks inside lol.

Apparently older systems (Like this one, the one i bought via telkom, manufacturing date of 2006) with these new extra sinks in are REFURBISHED models from the UK!

Theres a quick DIY on the net where you can check if you got the extra sinks too, WITHOUT VOIDING YOUR WARRANTY:

PS: Buyer beware, if you are planning on getting a 360 from Telkom, make sure its not a refurbished one if you dont like the idea of buying a second hand machine new...

I had no idea it was so hard to get an Elite on the 2nd hand market.

I'm getting ready for the new dashboard update when you can install games on the HDD and play it that way

I have one of those now. my old one when it rrod a guy offered me R500 just for the dvd drive (samsung 360 drives are like gold).

I tend to pay R500 for the console.

I'm just wondering I don't think I'd *wisper* Flash my xbox becaause I might still want play on LIVE! one day without getting bricked and I don't have any "connections" for games that would make flashing it worth it
