Yes my ping is still screwed, now I know that I stay in Cape Town and thing here are generally slow but my ping use to be fine, around 40 – 60 now it is around 100 – 120. I tried the whole phoning Telkom with no success. At this point I am not even sure if they actually changed my latency to interleave, never mind changing it back.
I use a NetGear 814 router and it does not tell me what latency I am on as far as I can see. Is there perhaps some other way that I can see what latency I am on i.e. software. The fact that none of my co-gamers in Cape Town seem to have problems with there DSL makes me wonder if there is not perhaps sometime else wrong.
