What will I need to know to get this job?
• Good knowledge of SQL Server 2008 R2/2012
• Understanding of data schema design and optimisation
• Experience with ORM frameworks (Entity Framework, LLBLGEN, Nhibernate)
• C# – good experience of the language, the CLR and object-oriented design
• Good knowledge and understanding of Linq
• .Net / Asp.Net 4.5 (web forms) – extensive knowledge
• Very strong JQuery/JavaScript knowledge
It’s a big plus if you have:
• HTML 5 and CSS3 knowledge
• ASP.NET MVC 5
• Practical experience of responsive design / CSS frameworks
• Good understanding of .Net application optimization and scalability
• Experience of deploying and managing Windows Services
What will I do every day?
You will be required to participate in all phases of the software life cycle from requirements gathering through to design, implementation, acceptance testing and support. You will then be required to implement this functionality with a focus on reliability and usability. We follow a lightweight Kanban methodology with a focus on features, quick prototyping and short iterations.
