PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To provide system level support, testing, development specifications and analysis for internal system development. Identify alternatives for optimizing computer resources system functionality/performance while maintaining our core values and culture.
KEY CUSTOMERS
The Clients
Managerial and Supervisory Staff
Employees
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
OBJECTIVES
KEY JOB OUTPUTS
Support Calls
High = Resolve in 3 Business hours from when call was logged
Medium = Resolve in 24 Business hours from when call was log
Low = Resolve in 5 working days from when call was logged
Testing
All system testing to be done in 5 working days from handover from development.
Specification verification
All specification verifications to be done within 5 working days from handover from Business analyst
Systems Analysis
Visit clients and perform analysis for any enhancements or new systems.
Ad-hoc Duties
Perform other duties as may be required from time to time by the Director.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENECE
• Matric
• Relevant IT diploma or Degree
• 3 to 5 years of business / systems analysis
SKILLS REQUIRED
• Microsoft SQL
• Microsoft Windows operating system
• Microsoft Office packages
• Freight industry systems
• System interface knowledge
• Ability to develop systems solutions for operational problems.
• Ability to investigate and analyze information and to draw conclusions.
• Responsibilities may require evening and weekend work in response to needs of the systems being supported.
• Ability to plan, implement, test, and troubleshoot system software.
