Who are they?
My client, one of the leading small software development companies in South Africa, is seeking to hire a Junior or Intermediate .Net Developer. They are based in Woodstock and have an opportunity for a candidate to be responsible for developing innovative web- and mobile-based apps and sites.
What will you do?
• Manage system issues that arise from many interconnected systems
• Assist with deployments as needed
• Own the solution – and oversee the problem through to resolution
• Proactively monitor and identify the system and environments
• Refactor legacy code and fix technical debt
Can you apply?
• Degree in Computer Science
• 3+ years’ experience in .NET and C#
• A working knowledge of, and experience in, MS SQL
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
• A strong analytical muscle
• Good prioritisation, administration and time-management skills
• Ability to work autonomously
• Problem-solving and debugging skills
• Exposure to, and experience in, the financial services industry
• An extensive knowledge of Windows Server
