Intermitted disconnections...

Hi there

Is it only my iBurst connections or is anyone else also experiencing intermitted disconnections, with renewal of IP’s and slow international connectivity with frequent timeouts and download speeds in the region of the 300 Kbps mark?

Please advise.

I am connected to the Gardens tower in Cape Town and the above mentioned issues started occurring at 11 am this morning.

Seems to have been fine here so far today and tonight, no disconnections and the same IP that I had since yesterday.

Speed also has been normal with browsing and downloads.

No disconnections, the IP I have is the same as for the past while, but good grief it is slow. Like slower than a slow dialup connection. Download speeds are also very slow.

No problem this side they both load fast, must be your tower.

LOL, seems fine now though - haven't had any disconnections Google is loading once more and speed is back...

I also experienced some disconnections and horrible pings to sites like Yahoo.com and even Google earlier today. Seems to be back to normal now.

apprently it's some DOS attacks affecting IS and SAIX... my inet at work and 3g was shocking
