Intermittent ADSL

Our normal ADSL speed in South Africa is slow by global standards, 384kbps, but it has been sufficient for my purposes. Since Xmas I have been having I’m having many problems due to ADSL being slow or disconnecting, sometimes for short periods at other times for several hours. In the morning and at night also at weekends it operates acceptably well but weekday afternoons and evenings are a nightmare. Could it be that the system in my local area is overloaded and this is the cause or could there be something else?
 
post you line stats here and if you can do a trace route that would also help to establish if there is in fact congestion
