Internal Audio Extension cable

The front panel HD audio cable is too short to reach the pin on the motherboard. Does anyone know where you can get a extension in SA? I search the web, but these cables are only available in UK and US.

Just cut it and join it using similar wire.

It will work fine. Take the cable with you to a place like Hamrad, Communica etc and get similar, they will also be able to supply you with a nice soldering iron, get one you can get spare tips for (different sizes).
