Good morning all,

Bit of an odd request from a user here. They are looking for some lightweight software that would allow other users within the company to log tickets for marketing requests (i.e: ordering more business cards, calendars). This is purely for internal use so we can force people to stop contacting our marketing person on their personal number after hours to log requests. There is no stock management required, we purely need to log requests somehow so they're easier to manage internally. We have tried forcing users to use emails, but they very quickly get lazy and just start forwarding the same mail over again so it becomes a nightmare to try track down orders with the volume of mail this user gets daily.

We have looked around a bit and everything we are finding has far too many features for what we are needing, especially if it is only going to be one person managing the ticket queue. Has anyone come across something that could do this or perhaps have an idea that won't cost an arm and a leg to implement?

Thanks in advance
WB

Would be happy to build something small for you. How much are you looking to pay for this.

osTicket , popular open source ticket logging system. It is open source so expect shitty documentation but its very feature rich.

Used to use Redmine at my old job, not sure if it's still a good option but it is still used quite widely.

I've used Redmine before so I know that's a bit overkill for what we're wanting to do here. The users whom would be required to actually use it battle to use WhatsApp so I know this is above their technical level as well sadly.

Something like trello?
Trello looks interesting as well, just unfortunately missing the automated logging side of things we're looking for. Depending if the person whom will be using it is okay with having to manually load the items to the workflow, I can see this working pretty well for them.

Are you able to PM an email address or something to pass along so they may make contact if they are interested in getting something custom made?
