International dead slow?

Well for your information UNFantastic1, I use my 20 gig every month. Only this week have I had issues, which will be sorted and I will be back to spending my 20 gig for May again. You can only hope to catch up with me by December...so na na na na na na :)

then maybe i'm one of the lucky ones, while downloading, full speed, surfing in general, no problem.
If you can give me the iburst i had before launch, no shaping, no capping or at least a much bigger cap of at least 80 to 100GB cap, then we can have a talk, otherwise, I'm staying with sentech.

face the facts ejbengine.... where the sense of having no shaping and 20gb cap .... when you get pathetic speeds like 3.4 KBps ...
1 you will never reach your cap and WOW :) you call this No Shaping .... cruzin at 3.4KBps wireless ... that's awfully incredibly Super fast in your terms :)

Just so that you may stop the verbal diarrhea , this is CSV file from NetMeter.Pity I can't copy a printscreen image from NetMeter itself, but if you still have any doubt I'm happy to mail the jpg file:

Fantastic1 what exactly are you trying to prove. Iburst is faster than sentech. WE GET IT!!!! If you actually paid attention you would realise that the decisive issue for most people in this forum is the cap. Unless iburst can provide a decent cap at similar prices, there's really no point in any further comparisons. As far as service goes, I've read plenty of complaints from both iburst and sentech users. The same can be said for all other broadband offerings. Give the issue a rest will you.

Couldn't have said it better myself! None of the curent options on the market at the moment are perfect. They all have flaws and advantages and disadvantages. It takes an individual to decide which package contains the fewest flaws and the most advantages for their specific purpose. So you are proud of your product, so you looooovvvve your product ... or do you truly (methink you protest too much) and yes this whole forum is a place of debate etc, but Fantastic1 you are really iritating people with your childishness, you are pushing things a wee bit too far. You would be far more acceptable and believable if you weren't so vocal and were showing just a smidgeon of restraint in your posts. I think you need to be a little less hyper! Go check that you took your ritalin today hhhmm?

well i got it now .. thanks
This is the part in the script where you're suppose to retract some earlier comments about how sentech users never hit the 10,20 or 40 Gig cap because ,as you put it , "sentech is slow"

Urgh and the speeds are even worse today. Strange because it was fine late yesterday up until about 8am today.

I experienced some slow speeds for a few minutes yesterday.Reconnected to 196.34.x.y and all seemed back to normal. However the support guy said they were experiencing "intermittent speed problems"

the thing is...

The thing is, it's not a constant thing, speed cames and goes, like, as if, priorities have been established for some users (which is true). Because a 128kb/s user pays less, doesnt mean it should get low priority, remember, it also downloads less, and it has half the speed of a 256kb/s connection. Same is true to 512/kb/s...

oh well...i think im just about fed up with this...
cheers,
AS

The internet was fine over the weekend, but come 8.30am Monday morning, it's dead slow again. Makes me think someone is flipping a switch somewhere, or that there is some contention ratio thing going on again.

7000ms latency!

Hi, since yesterday afternoon that i can't really do anything on my World of Warcraft, i've got a latency of 7 seconds... B4 that it was around 1 to 1.5 secs, for a server in europe. All of a sudden i have 800ms to the states and 7 seconds to europe...WTF is going on?
cheers,
AS

hey guys,

I am on iburst and iburst is pretty crap. so don't listen to what iburst resellers have to say, they just pimping iburst for money.

speed on iburst since they started overselling on my tower:
Your line speed is approximately 150.2 Kbps or 18.4 kBytes/sec

4months ago i used to get 100KB/s but it has been gradually decreasing.

so yeah... should i come back to sentech?

i use sentech, no problems, there seems to be a bit of a problem during the day, but weekends and at night speeds are there, downloads as i have seen, go more or less full speed permanently(27KB - 38KB give or take).

but then again, its you choice, i'm happy with sentech, others not, so...
