International dead?

hehe, man i wish i could visit that place. looks very cool, I wonder if they play quake on there after hours and use the big screen as a overview window :p

Still nothing on the saix noticeboard  Oh well its working again YaY :)

Mine seems to be back up again? Or is it just something that managed to get past Telkom for a sec

But MrG is your connection working with your web africa account, i doubt it.

My international is via TelkomInternet and Local via WebAfrica. My WebAfrica accounts are Local Only accounts, besides the one prepaid Unshaped SAIX one.

(SAIX and IS Accounts)

My international with TelkomInternet has always been 100% today.

<rant>How does this country actually expect anyone to work here, if the international link is down every few days and the speeds are basically worse than using a 56-modem ....
They shouldn't build a new stadium in Greenpoint (ok, they shouldn't do that anyway) - they should get INFRASTRUCTURE up ... how do they expect me to run an it company ...</rant>

International down. National slow as hell.

My ADSL is up & running, saix east london.

Kilos, so way to go is potential 3G?
Haven't done any research but what are specs of the Vodacom 3G router. Do you have an url
Connected our Knysna Heads NSRI Pan/Tilt/Zoom webcam to the Linksys WRT543G 3G Router - thruput is >384kb/s enough for streaming, which we will not offer until cheaper bandwidth.
Available from PCMall or contract from Vodacom

The only gripe I have when we access the Wireless 3G Router is that
the Dynamic DNS service fails to update when there is an IP Address change. (Dyndns.org or the other builtin support for tzo.com) Maybe if we had a fixed IP that will solve the problem.

Also check out the discussion in the Vodacom Forum
