Please tell me I'm not the only one.

For God's sake, I want to watch last night's episode of Real Time with Bill Maher before I go to sleep.

Somebody please shed some light if there's a situation.

EDIT: To clarify, I'm on Mweb and can only access local content

Telkom did maintenance, all telkom subscribers recieved e-mails
Dear subscriber

Due to TelkomInternet‘s constant quest to improve our service, we will be executing system maintenance. Regrettably, this will result in service interruption.

The period during which downtime will be experienced, is Sunday, 21 September 2008 from 00:00 till 05:00. Service will be interrupted for short periods of up to ten minutes at a time.

Users already accessing the Internet will not be impacted. However, you will not be able to send and retrieve any e-mail, or connect to the Internet during the short downtime periods. Our websites: webmail.telkomsa.net, the DSL tracker and top-up sites will also not be available during this period.

Please feel free to contact our technical support call centre on 10215 should you have any queries in this regard.

We apologise for any inconvenience. The downtimes are purely as a result of our determination to provide you with the best possible service.

Regards

TelkomInternet Technical support

I also had some probs. I just switched my modem on and off. Now working fine again although the speed is a bit slower than normally.

SAIX DBN seems to be a lil sluggish today. Haven't been able to load sites on & off throughout the day.

saix stellenbosch, been going on and off the entire day....

Yes, both Saix accounts are going super slow. Not more than 8 kB/s on international and local.
