Yeah, if this is a huge national outtage which it looks like, I'm wondering what all the foreign guys are thinking and experiencing now. So many news, sport, technology etc companies must be cut off to their international head offices to some degree and not to mention all the visitors...

Cybersmart issues in London - my adsl is down so using 3G

If you're with Cybersmart, the following is from their support page. *sigh* Do you think we'll get a discount for the time we're down? Not.

Our international provider is having network peering issues in London. They are currently re-routing traffic.

We have scheduled a maintenance window between 6am - 8am Friday morning.
There is a very low risk of downtime, however, with all network changes the possibility exists.
We are introducing redundancy to our network in the UK so that we can provide you the customer
with better response times and reliability.

haven't been able to acces afrihost uncapped international all morning. Anyone know where I can get a status update?

I'm actually getting suprisingly good speeds this morning...almost as if you guys having problems has freed up bandwidth for us. It's like full shaping hasn't kicked in today.

I had no international on my Mweb 384kbps Uncapped until I reconnected the PPPoE connection.

Edit: I was speaking too soon. The international connectivity is very intermittent now
