International Down?

I use Branded Internet, who use Cybersmart's backbone and according to them "Our Seacom connection is down, this is the cause of the problem. We are rerouteing on Sat3. International will be intermittent."

I can't see any other notices regarding a Seacom issue yet, nor does Cybersmart have a network notice currently. Either that's not really the issue or else they are just painfully slow at posting notices.

(Correct on my previous post)

OK, BasicADSL is Branded ADSL and it must have gone down in the last few minutes as I just switched my account back to Telkom 3 minutes ago. Thought I just hit the 3GB cap when I could not refresh my GMail

TENET just informed us that there is a power issue in the Durban area and that a generator failed to kick in, hence the international outage on TENET. Presumably this might explain the ADSL outage as well.

Is it just me or is international down again? I'm on Cybersmart
i think time to change cybersmart to different isp.i am sick and tired of them.cybersmart is not to very smart isp.every weekend down.down.down......
