since this morning, international access has been next to dead for me...

no google :(

Scheduled Maintenance - Internet Access: 20 June 2006

Maintenance will be performed on the Sentech network on 20 June 2006 from 00:01 to 03:01. All international internet access services for all customers will be affected.

Perhaps someone forgot to reset something

That explains it. Probably some hiccup that is causing it to go on for much longer than expected. I did first notice it last night at 12pm

It is quite odd. Certain sites work great, others not.
analytics.google.com is completely dead
adwords.google.com is working perfectly

Sigh. I'm so glad I'm not home during the day to deal with these constant outages.

Well I am only now getting emails(from both local people and from international sources) that were sent around seven and six am this morning !!! eg a mail from a friend in New Jersey, one from a friend here in Durban and my news.24 morning news email, have just arrived in the last 15 minutes

Google Earth, Google Mail and image search on Google.co.za is stuffing me around. Since this morning early, until now. Downloading Gmail attachements at 500bytes per second... Someone tripped over the wrong cable again. Urgh.
