International ISP in SA?

Hi All,

Does anyone know if it's possible for an international ISP (like Comcast and BT) to provide broadband in SA?

Im sure they can. It all depend if they want to be ISP TIER 1,2 or 3...

But you as a customer cannot get their service in SA if they are not established here.

Verizon, an international -mostly US- company used to be here in SA, till MTN bought their branch to power up their business section. Verizon used to be in Gallo Manor where the actual MTN datacenters are.

Another one in SA is T-systems (part of t-mobile and deutsche telecom) but they are not an ISP here.
