Latency to European servers has increased two-three fold as of today to around 500ms. Is anyone else with Supersonic experiencing these issues? It's not the first time they have had poor international bandwidth performance, as it is constantly going back and forth, but this is definitely worse than it normally is.

Hi,
I have had this issue every day since Thursday.
Usually around 20:00 to 23:00.
Even a ping to Google's DNS is hitting 300ms.
Call center hung up on me after 13min in the queue and had the audacity to have a post call survey.
I have had a ticket logged about this since Thursday and had no feedback what so-ever.
Sitting here not even able to to proper voice over the line. 200ms from the fibre router to the the first hop at the datacenter. Also not getting my full bandwidth assigned to me.
This is the bandwidth test for a 50MBit line to the Supersonic Datacenre.

Traceroute added up there. and an updated one now that the issue seems to be be better. Third day in a row that this happened.
Also took this screenshot as the issue started to resolve. I was not running any downloads. the ping just started getting better until 10:30 when everything was back to normal.

Since Last night the ping has been stable again.
BTW, I had people contact me and ask what software I am using to do the ping/trance. On Linux I use "mtr" and I an testing "Path Analyzer Pro" and "Ping Tracer".
Path Analyzer is in trial mode, not sure what functionality will stop working once it is out of trial.

There was an ongoing issue for the last couple of weeks after 19:30 every night. They reported that they addressed the issue on Thursday. So far it looks good. Will see how if goes...

Pointless to try and get any support from Supersonic. I give up with this pointless company.
Now the process of finding a new ISP starts.
71 % packet loss between their network and Europe.
I have had no feedback from Twitter, Facebook, Call center, Email to ombudsman and email for complaints line.
I didn't want to go this route, but I give up.

Massive packet loss - cannot game. Had it for a couple of nights now.
The loss appears to originate on my third hop to 41.181.189.70
https://www.maxmind.com/en/geoip-demo seem to think this is in SA, but if the pings are to be believed I doubt that. Looks more like international peering.

I have now found that after a fibre router reset (I'm on MTN's own fibre network) I seem to see a route change. My first hop at MTN seems to be different. rb-bng-2.za.mtnns.net is now in my path and no longer rb-bng-1.za.mtnns.net
No more packet loss. Why?
@Nyven what fibre network are you on? Can you affect the same hop change as I did by resetting your router, and does it perhaps also improve your international experience?

I think it was just a coincidence that you did that as the issue stopped.
I am also on MTN, but the issue stopped about 15 min ago. I did nothing. I stopped gradually, like it started.
Here you can see how bad the packet loss was and how it gradually gets better.
This seems to be during the peak TV streaming time at night.
Almost like there is not enough bandwidth somewhere and causes a bottleneck.

Today the latency started at 14:45 already and it has not recovered. It is has been hours.
