International Link Problems?

Last night (Friday 23 Oct) and this afternoon, I get a 7/10 HSDPA connection; I can ping www.mybroadband.co.za and access local sites fine; but I can't even get 4 out of 4 ping responses from www.google.co.za (which I beleive is hosted off-shore). Similarly, sites like www.iol.co.za take ages to load when they go off to adserver.adtech.de to fetch the adverts. Anyone else seeing this?

speedtest.net won't even load :-(

Also having issues with international sites on my side. Some work, some don't!
