Hi,
I wonder if there is anything I can do on my side to improve my International speed using ADSL via Telkom? I have 1024 line and local sites are blazing, but international sites are pretty slow

I don't think it matters but I use AllYouCanEatAdsl which uses Telkom's bandwidth.

Any advice would be appreciated :D

welcome to telcomonopoly:
The Internet is like a highway, but the roads out of SA are like the dirt roads from brakpan to blikkiesdorp.

Shame... I was hoping for some "do this and do that" kind of reply :) But thanks for commenting anyway.

moklet, I've been online since 1993 and making regular income from my online ventures. AdSense is one of them and it can bring you good revenue.

My sites are made for people who have no experience in researching and making these sites or for those with no knowledge in this area.

I won't brag about it here, it's in the signature as I learned one thing: Take and give back. Discount rate is for South Africans in need and my way of "giving some back"...

Com’on people,
Is there a difference in speed from ISP to ISP? I'm going through Telkom now and I think that someone has mentioned before that there are two main and very different sources in SA - links to the rest of the world... Who is the other one? Can my international speed improve?

I am sitting on 1024 which feels GREAT but it actually SUCKS as all my business is overseas and my international traffic is just ridiculously slow comparing to the local blazing...

Help?
