International scam calls

@mybb you article https://mybroadband.co.za/news/cell...ssed-calls-can-cost-you-hundreds-of-rand.html

Indicates that vodacom sent out warnings concerning this.

@vodacomguy(?)
Who was this warning sent to?
No one in my family or group of friends received any warnings about this, not contract or prepaid numbers....

Jip, Vodacom is lying, no one in my family received any messages about it via e-mail or SMS, or what other way are they using to communicate with clients? whatsapp? facebook messenger? tinder profiles?

Vodacom sent out an advisory about the surge in Wangiri fraud today, and told its clients not to return calls from unknown international numbers.

I concur. None of us received any notification from Vodascum.

You need a warning to tell you NOT to return an unknown International Call?

These days, maybe... A lot of friends moved overseas...

But either way it would be good customer service to warn your clients about such things.

Like antivirus companies warning users of the latest and greatest.

Besides either the author of the article made a mistake or vodacom lied. Each has its concerns
