International sites

what is going on guys...Cape Town here, hey our power is up, we need to get max pc time again before the lights go out again.

I can't get into MSN obviously so there goes my lovelife and social life, last thing I wanna do is see other people or go out for a drink :0

I can joke about this now, cause TELKOM is installing my ADSL tomorrow, so no more iburst for me...woooohoooooooooo...imagine, 24/7 internet broadband, can you guys smell it??? p~~~~~~ :P

Looks like international is working again, but this forum is still loading very slowly for me.

Ja, international is back, slowly, and they've also screwed up everything in the process.

Its terrible, I was trying to play online and everything suddenly just went dead.. after which it was about the worst I have ever seen.

Looks like I spoke too soon as I'm downloading from RS at a max of 33kbps:sick:

I think there's slightly different CPT and JHB problems.

Aah yes, its back to this. I am now getting very good international pings, 350-430 and pretty stable (never usually below 500), because the bandwidth is being routed through JHB I assume.. you guys have much better international pings than us. probably just a temporary fix, its happened before.

But things screw out all the time, pings die randomly etc..

crappy in CT both international as well as local, must be those spam invoices they are still trying to send out.

I wish we could keep the JHB international pings after this... :(

I can actually see how much faster it connects to websites before it dies out from actually trying to download anything..

Ahh it did later degrade for me as well. Went to bed asking myself if i had inadvertently downloaded 1.6GB on Sunday. Checked this morning and the bandwidth was still there. Now it all makes sense.

Over the past hour or so international and to some extent local is becoming erratic similar to last night with timeouts and slow loading speeds. :(
I hope we are not in for a repeat of last night in CT.
