Weird thing, though. I can ping various sites, with no loss...but they don't open in the browser. Not even when you put the IP in there...so cross out a DNS problem.

Same happened to me went for a jog, played some online games and Yay....! It seems to have been fixed.

does anyone have an adsl account that has hit the cap and they not using now? wana test? thanks

wierd... telkom is just screwing its customers over.. wait until AT&T or BT enter SA..then they screwed..itl happen soon..

is there any way of creating a script that will retrieve all international data via a local server? thus not affecting your cap as such

well i have recieved a couple of complaints about download speeds that are close to 0,yet the browsing is fast and normal..... , ive got a couple of client's that are moaning about their downloading, whether its international or local that i dont know yet. so the problem is still there.
thnx

Cant happen soon enough - if it ever does given the love Ivy has for Telkom and their monopoly.

International situation seems to have improved a bit - hoping p2p will have too.

i have had slow international again (10-20% packet loss) havent really used it since friday so im not sure if its working again or not?
