international very slow

Yes! Cannot get to even local stuff - ABSA, Mweb (to see mail that simply will not download). Can't even seem to FTP data via WS FTP Pro. Got a call from a friend in Northcliff with the same problem. Model shows full signal strength. Internetfrog shows speed test:

Download: 193,704 bps
Upload: 42,192 bps
QOS: 55%
RTT: 0 ms
MaxPause: 512 ms

Way beyond what I usually get on the Wonderboom tower.
 
I'm also connected to the wonderboom tower, my local is so so, but my international is horrid at the moment:( 0.5 to 8 KB/s
 
My downloads on 512K IS ADSL is crawling along at 300 bytes/sec.

So there seems to be a problem with the Telkom international fiber connection.

Same Here Been trying to get my mail off their server the whole morning. It took 15 min to download 10KB of the email.

International sites running fine. Its just the dam email I cant access. Wont alow me to access it via webmail as well.
 
I had the same thing last night, seems to be slightly better today. Not so shure about international though. If it's still as bad as it was last night I'd be pretty angry, it was hardly usable.
 
Last night at 12am i tried to download email but it timed out everytime and also could not browse local and international websites. The only program that connected was Skype and i connect normally to the Randburg tower and this morning it was still down with the same problem.

I am at work at the moment on ADSL with no problems and will check tonight after work if my connection works.
 
same here... I managed to get to certain sites but when I attempted to play some Guild Wars my account kept timing out :(

my speed ranged from 10 to 200kbps :(
 
I am having trouble with google . Web mail. Email. even some local sites. Yellow pages .
 
Today seems fine, when I phoned them yesterday they were aware of the slow speeds. Looks like they sorted it out.
 
Now I know why albert123 is in C-Max, he stole part of my signature!! :p
 
Pretty bad for me, not terrible but even at night I only get like 400kb max.
Ping times also through the roof alot of the time. Very inconsistent, but thats usual
