G'day, can anyone advise me on a reliable free accelerator which is not Malware like Bywifi!!! Where I am at the mo, we feed off Satellite and the speed is slow.

All I can advise is setting up an old machine as a proxy (smoothwall as an example) and having it cache from regularly used sites.

Most of these linux/bsd ones would use squid.

If you wanna do downloads use a multithreaded download manager. I use aria2, uget could be used as a gui frontend to it.
