H guys, I have a 8900 curve. I have WIFI at home, but its not the adsl modem. the modem plugs into the computer-USB . I have a wireless router to enable the adsl to be broadcast wireless. I can connect to to the wireless just fine, but i still seem to be browsing on my device at gprs speed, any help to get my on device browsing faster?

Im assuming thats in general Browser settings, when i do that i get a :"unable to find the requested server" error???

Is the wifi connected ? the icin should go from greyed out to white when connected.

I think that may be the issue, on my home screen i can see VodaCom-SA- and then (my home wifi name) indicating its connected to my WIFI

But the WIFI logo remains grey!?

gona have to get someone with a wifi enabled device to get help you in getting that part to work. Have you tried googling it ?

Hmmm, now there's the rub with the Tour, no Wifi ;)

On the 8520, just press the menu key and look for Manage Connections > choose Wifi and/or disable GSM/Mobile Network.

This is assuming you already have a valid wireless connection setup already.

Just did the above and typing this on my BB via Wifi.

Surfing via Wifi is awesome, you won't believe what the Data arrow up/down looks like.

It gets really animated :D
