Hi,
Just to let you all know that i am new to adsl and I seem to have a problem with my internet access.
My ISP is Axxess - uncapped adsl 384 which i got on the 1st July.
Last week i tried to log in etc and it didn't work. However the next day i was messing around on the router and somehow i was logged into the internet.
Last night when i shut down my laptop and modem and restarted it, it would not log me in. However i checked the diagnostic on my modem and everthing says "PASS" and that my login details are okay etc. And all the lights are flashing green.
When i tried to set up my connection again it said that there is a problem with my username and/or password!
What could the problem be?!
Please help!!!
 
In order to answer your question, we need to know what kind of AXXESS product you are using.

You see, when you simply switch your router off, it does not disconnect your account properly, and, if you are using an AXXESS product that does not allow more than one simultaneous connection, then you will have to wait about 15 minutes for your previous connection to time-out before you can connect again.

Than, add to the above problem the fact that the authentication servers are getting slower and slower at answering authentication requests.

But .. enlighten us so that we can perhaps enlighten you.
 
its working and when i called them last week they said everything was active.

i am using the uncapped express account.
i will try again tonight and hopefully it will work.
