I need an email address and cheap access to the internet.

I don't require gigabytes of download capacity.

Anyone know of a cheap reliable internet provider???

Unless you need it to be mobile, I'd recommend ADSL.

If you already have a regular telephone line from Telkom, you can get 384kbps ADSL with a 1GB cap from Sainet for R189 per month, including the line rental... Or 2GB for R219. You no longer have to pay ADSL line rental to Telkom. (You do have to have a telephone line, though.)
