Does the mere act of logging into one's internet banking to check one's balance, incur any fee over and above the standard monthly subscription fee?

Don't all the other banks offer free internet banking?
Out of curiosity, how much is this monthly subscription fee?

I'm not sure and quite possibly it is free under my current package with ABSA. I just wanted to check if I'm incurring extra fees over and above what I'm already paying by logging into my internet banking. Currently I'm logging into my internet banking several times a day because I'm waiting for an international SWIFT funds transfer to go through (which can apparently take several days) and I need the proof of payment in order to finalise this business and time isn't on my side so I'm checking several times a day but then began to wonder if I'm paying extra for this.

Ah ok.
Just thought you might have that info available.
No biggie :)

ABSA's fee structure is not very transparent I'm afraid. Throughout the month, various amounts get deducted from my account for all kinds of things with the result that it's hard to know exactly how much I'm paying for what, and their website isn't very clear either. On average, I pay about R 400 per month for banking fees, in part my own fault for sometimes withdrawing money from non-ABSA ATMs, etc.

I pay 4.50 per month str8 internet access fee, using a Transact and a Depositor Plus account.

I can find the fees link somewhere if anyone needs it.
