Internet Banking on Imate?

I am contemplating buying either a k-jam or a jasjar (depending on availability) and would like to know if anyone knows how internet banking performs on these devices.

Does it work? Is anyone using it?

I am with absa and use online banking a lot.

site is gone. Can't find a replacement. It would be nice to have a smallscreen site, as banking with my TyTn is painfull with all the different windows.

But can you do it?

Is it possible to do a payment, check balances, etc. without too much of a hassle.

Or would you say it is not worth the effort?

well, you can do it. But it's a pain.

Standard Bank has a small screen version.

I use this a lot, only thing that can't be done on the small screen version is to create new beneficiaries.

as long as you do not use vodata from absa Everytime you send info it is 80c. So to recharge your phone could cost you R4 Then half way it hangs and you have to start over.
In the end it could cost you R10 plus to recharge.

I have not checked recently, but Absa was working perfectly with a sized to screen version on my iPaq 6515. Could do all payments, but have to register new recipients/accounts via Internet on my PC. I am very happy with the service offered and the GPRS traffic overhead is not too bad.
