Internet disconnection problem.

Hey howsit going guys.

I recently bought a new router (Netgear DG834G) after my last one recently failed. The net was fine for a few days but 3 days ago i started getting random DC's that only last for 3 - 10 seconds and happen very often.
When these DC's happen, the "dsl" light on the modem flashes and then goes red and then green again. Usually it wouldnt bother me, but playing a game online with these DC's can get quite annoying.

Anyone have any idea's of what could be causing it?

I have just had the same problem (posted on these forums somewhere under Random ISP disconnects) with the Netgear DG834GuV rotuer. Turns out it was the router (Telkom shop exchanged free of charge for a Billiion 400G) and problem instantly went away.

I've got a Telkom Mega 200 VWR and seem to have exactly the same problem.
@ Scoliosis: I'm going to borrow another ADSL router and see if it still happens as I initially thought it was my line. . .

Well as long as it isn't my line, i'm all happy. Should i get something different than a netgear or should i just swap it for another one of the same model?
